Dolcetto di Ovada D.O.C., one of the great wines of Monferrato area, is also produced by Facchino wine-makers. Our family company is based in Rocca Grimalda, a town on the beautiful hills that embellish the area around Ovada. Our passion gives birth to genuine wines that are the fruit of our love for wine and tradition. Unique and incomparable wines have been produced in our land since almost 50 years; they truly represent the farmers’ wisdom and the great potential of our territory. Thanks to the particular composition of our soils, which are better known as “the white lands of Ovada” and to the technologic functionality meeting Piedmontese wine-making tradition, we produce wines that preserve the scents and the characteristics of the territory around Ovada. We believe that quality is our primary goal and that we should all remember that the production of great wines starts from the vineyards.
Come to visit our cellars and you will discover the exciting scents and tastes of a territory rich in nature and tradition. Our family company, a few steps far from Ovada, may be easily reached from Novi Ligure, Acqui Terme and Alessandria. It takes 60 minutes to reach us by car from Turin and Milan and 40 minutes if you arrive from Genoa. Directly in our cellars, it is possible to taste and buy our products every day from 8:30am to 7:00pm.
