Our Poggiobello is product with grapes that are cultived in one of the most appreciated areas in the district of Ovada. Its deep red color is accompanied by a unique fine and elegant scent. This wine is best if aged. The taste is sophisticated and bodied, warm and rich. Best served with red meat, tasteful poultry and aged cheese. Best served at 18°-20°C.

Dolcetto di Ovada D.O.C. 2014 “Poggiobello”
Very fine wine that, if aged, develops special characteristics that make it recalled for its scent and elegance among the best superior wines bottled.
Color: deep red.
Scent: intense and persistent, fine, with notes of flowers, fruit and spices of wild rose, redcurrant, blackberry and raspberry just ripened and macerated, a light scent of ground white pepper and bitter almond.
Taste: dry, very fresh, full-bodied, warm, slightly astringent, with a fine body and persistence and a pleasant bitterish ground.
Aftertaste: tannic hint and notes of flowers, fruit and spices.
Best served with poultry, white roast meat, cheese.
Recommended serving temperature 18°C.
